Job Summary
Transportation Van Driver responsible for safely transporting residents to medical appointments, activities, and other outings in a healthcare/long-term care setting. Role includes assisting passengers with mobility, ensuring proper seating and safety, performing daily vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and following safety policies and traffic laws. Requires effective communication with residents, staff, and caregivers, and the ability to operate lifts or ramps for passengers with mobility needs. CDL may be required depending on vehicle size; previous healthcare/long-term care driving experience preferred.
