Job Summary
Transportation Training Technician responsible for recruiting, training, and evaluating school bus drivers; leads, manages, and coordinates the District's school bus driver training program; delivers, implements, updates, and creates driver training to support safe transportation in compliance with law and regulation; 8-hour shifts on a 260-day calendar; exempt, professional-technical level with continuing employment potential; position supports a comprehensive benefits package under SEBB and related retirement and health plans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Experience as a school bus driver
- Progressively responsible experience as a supervisor or an evaluator
- 2-4 years of work experience in training school bus drivers
- Current Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus, and all other necessary endorsements
- Current CDL License Physical Certification
- Current First Aid Certification
- OSPI School Bus Driver Authorization
- State of Washington School Bus Driver Instructor Certification
