Job Summary
Transportation Supervisor at WelbeHealth coordinates transportation services for participants and enrollees, oversees vehicle safety, manages the Transportation team, participates in IDT meetings, conducts driver ride-alongs, and implements operational improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cancellations, and enhance participant satisfaction. Responsibilities include hiring, training, supervising, mentoring staff; leading in IDT and market meetings; overseeing vehicle maintenance and fleet documentation; overseeing scheduling and ensuring high-quality transportation delivery for seniors; requires a high school diploma or equivalency, a valid driver’s license, and supervisory experience with leadership and communication skills for work in senior-care settings. Compensation is base pay plus bonus, with benefits including medical coverage, PTO, holidays, sick days, and a 401(k) match; compensation range $75,000–$80,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency; professional experience may be substituted
- Current valid state driver’s license
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a public or private transportation setting
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families, and IDT members
- Must maintain eligibility to drive under WelbeHealth’s commercial auto insurance program; age requirements: generally at least 25; may consider 23–24 based on history; drivers over 70 may require medical certification
