Job Summary
This Transportation Supervisor role oversees Delivery operations, supervising Delivery Associates, ensuring compliance with DOT/OSHA and safety protocols, managing schedules and assets, coordinating with Sales/Marketing to address delivery opportunities, and maintaining quality customer service while enforcing company policies and procedures in a logistics/foodservice distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training
- Complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program. HazMat certification preferred. Valid Class A Commercial Driver License meeting Company standards preferred.
