Job Summary
Oversee logistics operations by ensuring all associates meet DOT and CMV requirements, managing delivery schedules, and maintaining Road Net software. Coach associates on performance through driver and customer surveys, while participating in recruitment and hiring for logistics roles. Conduct monthly safety meetings, handle accident reporting, and monitor staffing levels to meet productivity expectations. Train employees on organizational policies and service guidelines, and communicate daily route changes. Assist the logistics manager with associate calls, equipment maintenance, and new associate onboarding. Monitor fleet maintenance and safety issues, and identify opportunities for associate development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organization skills
- Multi-tasking skills
- Time management skills
- Knowledge of DOT and CMV requirements
- Knowledge of Road Net software
- Ability to walk
- Ability to bend
- Ability to reach
- Ability to stand
- Ability to squat
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to work at heights of 8 feet or greater
- Ability to lift/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lb
- Availability during October, November, and December and other peak periods
