Job Summary
Transportation Supervisor needed in Des Moines, IA to lead the driver/transportation team, manage daily operations, schedule pickups, monitor truck maintenance, and support onboarding and training. Requires supervisory/leadership experience, CDL preferred, strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Will oversee route coordination, documentation, reporting, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Class A or B CDL license preferred
- 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Lead and support the transportation team on daily operations
- Maintain and update truck maintenance records and tracking spreadsheets
- Monitor shuttle truck arrivals and departures
- Schedule pickups and coordinate transportation logistics
- Work directly with drivers on runbacks and route support
- Review and manage trip reports and transportation documentation
- Assist with driver onboarding and training
- Support hiring efforts for transportation team members
- Serve as backup support for routing operations when needed
