Job Summary
Manage drivers and oversee transportation functions by helping with day-to-day issues, conducting weekly meetings to address concerns, and accurately logging POs, call offs, and pay issues. Cover routes or shuttles when needed due to call offs or openings, while navigating customer issues and overseeing equipment maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness. Communicate with third-party vendors to ensure repair timeliness and aid in the recruiting and hiring process. Requires a CDL A license, one year of supervisory experience, and routing expertise. Full-time role at Lipari Foods, a premier distributor delivering food products to retail accounts across 32 states.
Required Qualifications
- CDL A (Required)
- 1 year & 50,000 verifiable miles driving a tractor trailer
- CDL Class A driver's license 1 year of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Routing experience or extensive knowledge there of
