Job Summary
Help drivers with day-to-day issues, conduct weekly meetings to address concerns, and aid in the recruiting and hiring process. Cover routes or shuttles when needed due to call-offs or openings, while accurately logging POs, call-offs, and pay issues. Navigate and handle customer issues that arise, and oversee equipment maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness by communicating with third-party vendors to ensure timely repairs. Manage a team with at least one year of supervisory experience, requiring a CDL Class A license and 50,000 verifiable miles driving a tractor trailer. Starting pay is $75,000 per year for this Memphis, TN role.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a combination of training and/or experience totaling at least 1 year
- Must have CDL Class A Driver's License
- 1 year & 50,000 verifiable miles driving a tractor trailer
- 1 year of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Routing experience or extensive knowledge thereof
