Job Summary
Conduct weekly meetings with drivers to address issues, questions, and concerns while helping drivers with day-to-day operational issues. Cover routes or shuttles when needed due to call-offs or openings, and accurately log POs, call-offs, and pay issues. Navigate and handle any customer issues that arise, oversee equipment maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness, and communicate with third-party vendors to ensure repair timeliness. Assist in the recruiting and hiring process for new drivers. Requires a CDL A license with one year of management experience and extensive routing knowledge. Full-time role with medical, dental, vision, and 401k matching benefits starting on the first day.
Required Qualifications
- Covers Tampa, Ft Myers, Tallahassee, Tifton GA and possibly more when needed
- CDL A (Required)
- 1 year & 50,000 verifiable miles driving a tractor trailer
- CDL Class A driver's license 1 year of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Routing experience or extensive knowledge there of
