Job Summary
Conduct weekly meetings with drivers to address issues, questions, and concerns while serving as the first point of contact for drivers in the region. Accurately log POs, call offs, and pay issues, and navigate any customer issues that arise. Help drivers with day-to-day problems, aid in the recruiting and hiring process, and cover routes or shuttles when needed due to call offs or openings. Oversee equipment maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness, communicating with third-party vendors to ensure timeliness of repairs. Requires a CDL A license with one year of experience, 50,000 verifiable miles, and a management background.
Required Qualifications
- CDL A (Required)
- 1 year & 50,000 verifiable miles driving a tractor trailer
- CDL Class A driver's license 1 year of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Routing experience or extensive knowledge there of
