Job Summary
Conduct weekly meetings with drivers to address issues, questions, and concerns while serving as the first point of contact for drivers across Indy, Ft Wayne, Delphos, and Dayton. Help drivers with day-to-day issues, accurately log POs, call offs, and pay issues, and navigate customer issues that arise. Cover routes or shuttles when needed due to call offs or openings, and oversee equipment maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness by communicating with third-party vendors to ensure timely repairs. Assist in the recruiting and hiring process. Requires a CDL A license, one year of management experience, and extensive routing knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- CDL A (Required)
- 1 year & 50,000 verifiable miles driving a tractor trailer
- CDL Class A driver's license
- 1 year of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Routing experience or extensive knowledge there of
