Job Summary
Supervise daily driver operations including dispatch, route optimization, and compliance with hours of service and maintenance schedules. Coach drivers on safety, service quality, and performance while overseeing training, onboarding, and documentation. Act as a front-line representative addressing service issues, identifying upselling opportunities, and building trust-based relationships with customers. Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to support customer growth and contribute to business development goals. Prioritize daily tasks, monitor KPIs, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining driver records and participating in Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings. Manage office resources, supplies, and payables to support budget adherence. This temporary position offers a base salary of $68,000 to $72,000 and includes training on the day shift with potential rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, or warehousing
- Proven sales or customer-facing experience
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance
- A commitment to health & safety, service excellence, and business growth
