Job Summary
Supervise the Security and Transportation department, manage scheduling, and assist in hiring, supervising, evaluating, and coaching employees. Monitor residents' transportation requests, document emergencies and shift issues, and ensure safety and well-being during campus events and activities. Maintain a valid Florida Driver's license with a clean record, holding a CDL with passenger endorsement preferred, while providing flexible weekend and holiday coverage. Join a team at this not-for-profit Life Care Retirement Community serving over 1,000 senior residents on a 70-acre campus in Pompano Beach.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver's license
- Clean driving record
- 3+ years of passenger driving experience
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- CDL license with passenger endorsement
- Prior supervisory experience
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting
- An all-around problem solver: someone who works well and can make important decisions under pressure
