Job Summary
Plans, directs, coordinates, and participates in activities of warehouse/delivery drivers, including personnel scheduling, meeting customer delivery obligations, and ensuring compliance with applicable transportation regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities and route/vehicle assignments, training personnel, maintaining driver files, monitoring and improving performance through evaluations and road-testing, handling accident investigations and insurance reporting, responding to customer complaints, coordinating with Sales/Operations/Purchasing, and conducting weekly staff meetings to communicate procedural updates. Requires at least 2+ years of relevant experience and the ability to supervise a driver/warehouse team and ensure safe, compliant operation of vehicles.
