Transportation Supervisor

Execute daily operational plans for the transportation department by coordinating with warehouse shipping, receiving, safety, customer service, and routing to resolve emerging issues. Champion driver performance through metric tracking, coaching, and behavior modification counseling while maintaining morale. Monitor yard operations to align with warehouse needs, ensuring jockeys follow best practices in organization and trailer utilization. Complete routine audits for pre and post trip equipment checks, manage controllable costs including labor and fuel, and assist with payroll and driver qualification files. Perform second shift duties in the office environment while adhering to DOT and OSHA regulations.
