Job Summary
Positions responsible for planning, supervising, and performing technical transportation work including sampling and testing materials for highway construction, conducting traffic studies, and managing construction projects. Level I has no educational requirements, while Level II requires one year of relevant experience or an educational equivalent. Knowledge of basic geometry, algebra, and construction materials is essential. Applicants must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and must be prepared for travel duties associated with the position.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Oklahoma driver’s license
- One year of experience in transportation related work for Level II
- Equivalent combination of education and experience for Level II, substituting two college courses in mathematics, natural science, engineering or related field for the year of required experience.
