Job Summary
Analyze data from custom computer screens to prepare driver run sheets and assign drivers to gates and flights. Serve as the quality assurance specialist, ensuring cooler contents and meals meet customer specifications while monitoring departure times. Track all flight, gate, meal order, and other changes, acting as a backup supervisor by relaying updates to drivers on the ramp and directing workflow. Check that run sheets are accurate and resolve customer problems by answering calls and logging concerns. This full-time, non-exempt role rotates between scheduled and vacation relief shifts. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma, and experience directing work in a warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma
- 2+ years of general work experience in an office or warehouse facility
- 1 year of experience directing the work of others
- 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be 21+
- Must be able to drive on the ramp
- Must be able to function in a warehouse environment
- Must be able to rotate between day and night shift
- Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision/off-site environment
- Must be able to make independent decisions
- Must be able to compile data from multiple sources with a high degree of accuracy
- Must be able to communicate status changes to all parties in a timely manner
- Must be able to develop rapport with major client
- Must be able to multi-task in a hectic environment
