Job Summary
Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport agronomic crop production input and energy products to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all applicable laws and regulations. Assist with loading and unloading products, verifying delivery orders, and managing documentation such as receipts and logs. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting mechanical issues promptly to coordinate repairs. Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous materials handling and company safety policies. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and incidents. This role requires a valid CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, physical labor for lifting heavy objects, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with required endorsements (e.g., HazMat, Tanker) within six months of employment and maintain a clean driving record.
- Follow safety and compliance standards to help ensure their well-being and the safety of others.
- Previous experience in agronomy or energy transportation is preferred.
- Knowledge of safe handling and transportation of crop production input and energy products, including hazardous materials.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
