Job Summary
Transportation Specialist responsible for operational support for capital equipment global and domestic shipments, freight bill auditing, analysis, reporting, and timely issue resolution. Supports freight forwarder agreements and cost controls, coordinating with warehouses, forwarders, customers, and customs brokers to secure on-time delivery. Collaborates with NL/TW teams, leads operational reviews, and drives improvements in freight processes, EHS safety compliance, and cost efficiency. Requires generating shipping documentation, tracking shipments, and ensuring accurate admin input. Travel up to 10% and US work authorization are required. Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of logistics experience, plus proficiency in MS Excel/PowerPoint, TMS, and SAP ECC, are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education/experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in logistics, supply chain management or operational management
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of logistics management systems (TMS) and SAP ECC
- Knowledge of customs import/export regulations is a plus
- US work authorization without sponsorship
- Ability to multi-task, strong communication, and travel up to 10%
