Job Summary
Transportation Services Representative within bp's Gas and Power Operations (GPTA) team. The role focuses on making natural gas nominations to Canadian pipelines, maintaining gas-management data (ETRM/Endur), supervising imbalances on pipelines/LDCs, and communicating market intelligence to trading teams. Responsibilities include driving process improvements and standardization across scheduling, analyzing and resolving operational issues, coordinating with pipelines, customers, and internal stakeholders, and collaborating with finance, risk, and settlements to ensure data accuracy. The position requires participation in rotational evenings, weekends, and holidays, while applying strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to influence and support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of natural gas scheduling or similar commodity operations
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred)
- Familiarity with EBBs and ETRM systems (Endur experience a plus)
- Senior experience in oil and gas industry; Mid-level experience in natural gas scheduling
