Job Summary
Transportation Senior Consultant - Strategy and Transformation (Grants) leads or supports strategy and transformation engagements focused on transportation grants, funding programs, and related operational improvements. Responsibilities include assessing current-state processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement, developing practical recommendations, partnering with client stakeholders and internal teams to shape grant-related strategies, workplans, and transformation roadmaps, analyzing data, synthesizing findings, and preparing deliverables and executive-ready materials. Supports project management activities to keep workstreams on track and contributes to business development through proposals and client-facing materials. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, US citizenship, ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust, 4+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Hybrid role with some days in the Guidehouse office and/or client site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"
- Based on our contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen
- 4+ years of relevant consulting, strategy, transformation, transportation, or grants experience
- Experience supporting process improvement, operational analysis, or program transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop professional deliverables and present information clearly
- Ability to work effectively with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- This is a hybrid role requiring some days in the Guidehouse office and/or client site
