Transportation Roadway Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct site visits and data collection to support roadway and bridge design projects. Design civil infrastructure including sidewalks, drainage, pavement, retaining walls, and geometric features using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation. Develop grading plans, corridor models, and stormwater analysis while contributing to design reports, calculation workbooks, and cost estimates. Assist the team in finalizing project deliverables such as plans, specifications, and permits, ensuring projects complete on time and within budget. Communicate effectively with leadership, clients, and stakeholders while representing the company at meetings. Participate in the firm's mentor-mentee culture to foster professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- EIT license
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting to complete all assigned project design tasks
- Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- U.S. Residency
