Transportation Project Manager

Job Summary
Manage large land development projects in all aspects of traffic engineering and planning, including traffic impact studies, intersection design, and roadway signing. Obtain, analyze, and apply PennDOT's Highway Occupancy Permit Design Criteria while overseeing reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and designs. Serve as a representative at municipal meetings, hearings, and PennDOT staff meetings to advocate for land development applicants. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, and a valid driver's license. Based in Pennsylvania, this role supports TPD's mission to improve public quality of life through engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Project Management experience with PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit and municipal land development projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code
- Experience with testimony on behalf of land development applicants as it relates to Pennsylvania municipal approvals
