Job Summary
Manage and lead planning and design of multimodal transportation projects, including corridor studies, complete streets, Vision Zero, public transit, and local/state permitting. Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and invoicing while reviewing designs, developing specifications, and handling public outreach. Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and public agencies across regional offices, and mentor junior staff. Assist with business development through client networking and proposal writing. This full-time role operates on a four-day work week (M-Th) with salary commensurate to experience.
Required Qualifications
- P.E. License
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering
- At least 8 years with relevant transportation design experience
- Project management experience
- Proficient in the necessary software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/lnRoads/Open Roads
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with project management of planning and design involving urban streets and roadways, multi-use trails, and other multimodal facilities
- Experience with roadway or highway design involving PennDOT and/or NJDOT
- Experience with the City of Philadelphia or other large municipal clients
- Strong interest in a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach to design
