Job Summary
The Transportation Project Manager leads projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities include developing project work plans, managing client relationships, preparing proposals, monitoring projects using a financial management system, securing funding, and ensuring project team compliance with company standards. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, professional engineering registration, and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the state where the office is located or ability to obtain registration within six months
- 5+ years of experience in the civil engineering field
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable

- Ability to market and sell engineering services
- Understanding of engineering contracts
- Ability to prepare engineering records and to write concise technical reports
- Ability to supervise and lead project teams to successfully execute engineering projects
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines

- Ability to read and interpret appropriate design, regulatory, funding and administrative codes
