Transportation Project Manager

Job Summary
Supervise and oversee transportation projects involving roadway, underground utility, drainage, and infrastructure improvements while managing local and Federal Aid initiatives for municipal clients. Lead diverse project studies, develop design and quality control standards, and build relationships with city agencies, DOTs, and counties. Assist with business development by preparing proposals and contracts, managing project staffing, and conducting interviews. Mentor junior staff and support hiring needs. Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, PE license, and five years of roadway/infrastructure design experience using IDOT standards. Occasional travel to job sites and evening functions may be required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of roadway/infrastructure design experience using IDOT standards
- PE License
- Experience completing IDOT Phase I Reports and IDOT Phase II bid documents
- MicroStation/Geopak capabilities preferred with an understanding of IDOT workflow
- May require occasional travel to job sites, client meetings and evening functions
- Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
