Job Summary
Lead the delivery of roadway projects from conceptual design through construction phases, managing teams of engineers and designers for State, City, and County agencies. Plan, direct, and oversee multi-disciplinary transportation planning projects while preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets. Provide superior client service through quality management and technical excellence, developing complex solutions for bridge and traffic engineering initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and assist in business development and proposal efforts with municipal, state, and private clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences or a closely related field
- 8 years of experience in transportation project management
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex roadway/highway projects
- Understands transportation design software, including OpenRoads and MicroStation
- Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with experience in client-facing roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- The position requires the successful completion of applicable pre-employment substance screening and background checks
