Job Summary
Lead transportation program and project delivery, overseeing the full project lifecycle from proposal through execution and ensuring adherence to corporate excellence standards. Manage scope, schedule, and budgets while developing complex technical solutions for clients, including TDOT, NDOT, and municipalities. Direct business development efforts to win new projects and strengthen existing relationships, coordinating closely with local leaders. Mentor subordinate staff on project delivery principles and client development, collaborating with management to determine long-range plans and staffing recommendations. Ensure specifications, reports, and analyses meet professional standards and client requirements across Tennessee.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Registered Professional Engineer in TN or ability to obtain PE within 6 months
- 15 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management
- Proven record of successfully leading and managing complex infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with experience in client-facing roles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- The position requires the successful completion of applicable pre-employment substance screening and background checks
