Job Summary
Mid-level Transportation Modeler/Planner to develop and maintain traffic models (TransCAD, Synchro) and perform scenario analysis for multimodal transportation projects, including forecasting traffic volumes, VMT, and benefit-cost analysis; responsibilities include GIS mapping, environmental (CEQA) transportation studies, grant writing, report generation, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requires 5+ years of transportation modeling experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning or related field; hybrid/remote work options may be available in Southern California.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Urban & Regional Planning or related field
- 5+ years of work experience transportation modeling (TransCAD and Synchro)
- Experience with GIS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in transportation planning projects including roadway improvements and multimodal corridors
- Experience with data analysis, graphics, and transportation modeling tools
