Transportation Planner

Job Summary
Transportation Planner responsible for day-to-day load planning across intermodal, truckload, multi-stop and LTL for distribution/manufacturing locations. Coordinate daily load planning across all modes, review routing and freight costs to optimize service and cost, resolve shipment issues with warehousing and transportation partners, and monitor carrier performance. Collaborate with Logistics functions to provide performance feedback, communicate with customer service, plants/DCs, and carriers to minimize late deliveries, and work within the Transportation Management System (TMS) for scheduling and analytics. Requires ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and understanding of transportation financials and P&L impact. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience; strong Excel skills; experience in consumer-packaged goods; written and verbal communication skills. Hybrid work model in Kansas City, MO.
