Job Summary

Coordinate assets to satisfy client, driver, and company needs by predicting availability and acquiring freight strategically. Establish resource availability through analysis of drivers, tractors, and trailers, while forecasting customer demands and servicing corporate accounts. Monitor loads, communicate with customer personnel regarding load movement issues, and develop execution plans for the Fleet Management group. This role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including Continental (06:00–18:00) or Monday–Friday schedules based on operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of previous transportation or logistics experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated skills in aligning goals with strategic direction to achieve targeted business results
  • Proven team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and to develop and maintain collaborative working relationship
  • Strong knowledge of company goals, work direction and practices
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
  • Availability to work outside of typical business hours, including either a Continental shift schedule (06:00–18:00) or a Monday–Friday schedule, based on operational requirements
