Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles to transport solid fuel materials, tires, and wood by-products between operational facilities and sites. Perform loading and unloading tasks using heavy equipment and manual labor as required. Conduct daily preventative maintenance, routine checks, and DOT inspections on assigned vehicles. Maintain accurate electronic and paper records of receiving and delivered inventory. Execute daily housekeeping, workplace inspections, and manual labor duties to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation regulations, company policies, and safety protocols while managing time effectively. This role requires a valid Class A CDL and at least two years of commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in industrial environments, waste management, or bulk material transport
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., skid steer, loader, screen, tire shredder, tire debeader)
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good physical condition to perform duties, including climbing in and out of trucks, bending, lifting at least 50 lbs kneeling, walking, standing, climbing and securing loads in various weather conditions
