Job Summary
Transportation Operations and Compliance Intern assists with Hours of Service auditing and driver compliance, supports ELD systems and DOT compliance, and helps prepare operational reports. The role covers fleet operations, safety compliance, and driver onboarding support within the trucking and logistics industry, with exposure to Omnitracs, HOS processes, and data auditing. The internship runs June through September and emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and documentation in a professional office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Transportation or Logistics, Operations Management, Safety Management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word
