Job Summary

Transport residents, patients, or clients to medical appointments, activities, and designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and facility policies. Assist passengers with mobility needs, including boarding, disembarking, and securing them using lifts, ramps, or restraints. Perform daily vehicle inspections for fuel, tires, brakes, and lights; report issues promptly and maintain cleanliness. Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring punctual arrival. Respond to emergencies such as vehicle breakdowns or medical incidents, communicating with facility staff for guidance. Maintain documentation including mileage logs, passenger lists, and maintenance records. Communicate effectively with nursing and administrative personnel to coordinate schedules according to care plans. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record; CDL may be required.
