Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day transportation operations at assigned locations in coordination with other site leaders. Participate in developing site-specific goals and ensure alignment and effective execution within the site. Review and evaluate daily route schedules with Logistics Operations Planning to address issues, and provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports through coaching, leadership development, and performance management. Ensure workplace safety standards are met, including yard cleanliness and GEMBA walks, and maintain timely communication with internal teams. Coordinate and monitor inventory movement through the warehouse workflow, distributing shifts to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of actual people leadership experience
- 4 years of logistics or supply chain experience OR Bachelor's Degree in related fields
- Demonstrable experience leading or developing people
- Managing CDL drivers
- Transportation experience (driver transporter or tractor trailer) or equivalent Military experience preferred
