Job Summary
Transportation Manager responsible for daily transportation operations, supervising drivers and a transportation coordinator, dispatching and adjusting routes for on-time performance, performing basic mechanical troubleshooting, coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance, conducting routine pre- and post-trip inspections to meet DOT and organizational safety standards, utilizing Samsara/REI/STTARS to monitor fleet activity and compliance, tracking vehicle availability and fleet utilization, supporting drivers in the field, and ensuring safe, reliable transportation services for individuals with IDD; requires familiarity with DOT/compliance requirements and reporting, plus leadership of a transportation team.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass the DOTD physical
- Familiarity with Samsara, REI, STTARS or similar fleet/tracking systems
