Job Summary
Coordinate transportation services for the Supply Management team by working with carriers to meet business needs and arranging critical expedited freight. Audit service provider invoices, consult on logistical service needs for other units, and assist with ongoing logistics for major projects. Complete worksite safety hazard observations and generate supporting data for regulatory submissions while managing basic customs requirements for importing and exporting. This 12-month term begins January 2027 with a Monday through Friday schedule, though weekend work or on-call rotation may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate degree (or minor) in Supply Chain Management or relevant program
- Possess a minimum of a valid Class 5 GDL Alberta driver's license or equivalent out of province license
- Weekend work / on-call rotation may be required
- Safety sensitive position: Yes
- All candidates applying to Canadian Natural must have legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the following are assets: MS Office Suite
- Understanding of Warehousing and Distribution
- Understanding of Dangerous Goods Transportation, ground, sea and air
- Knowledge of customs documentation and compliance
