Job Summary

Arrange, schedule, and track shipments for domestic and international operations, preparing documentation and coordinating pickups and deliveries. Provide timely updates on shipment status, delays, and issues while maintaining accurate records of tracking details, costs, and carrier documentation. Support transportation claims for lost or damaged goods, process invoices with accurate GL coding, and analyze data to identify efficiency improvements and cost savings. Assist with freight rate benchmarking, carrier sourcing, and developing standardized procedures for heavy equipment transportation. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, three to five years of experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
  • Three to five years of transportation management, logistics, supply chain, or related experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, heavy equipment, transportation, or freight operations
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, freight coordination, and logistics best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, manage changing priorities, and support time-sensitive shipment needs in a fast-paced environment
  • This role is primarily office-based but may require time in production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or outdoor areas to support equipment measurements, loading activities, shipment planning, and continuous improvement projects
  • The position may occasionally require lifting up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • Three to five years of transportation management, logistics, supply chain, or related experience preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, heavy equipment, transportation, or freight operations strongly preferred
  • Experience with transportation management systems and/or ERP systems preferred
  • Epicor experience is a plus
  • APICS certification preferred
