Transportation Litigation Attorney

Job Summary
Manage a litigation caseload from beginning to end under senior attorney supervision, conducting legal research on transportation laws and regulations. Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs while attending court hearings, depositions, and mediations. Negotiate settlements and ensure compliance with relevant laws throughout the claims and litigation processes. Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments to provide sound counsel to clients representing a large logistics services provider. This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement for a highly skilled attorney with 3+ years of general litigation experience and preferred background in trucking and regulatory matters.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the state of Indiana
- 3+ years of general litigation experience
- Superior analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Ohio and/or Indiana licensure
- Transportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory experience
- Deposition and law and motion experience
- Sophisticated technical skills necessary
