Job Summary
Track domestic and international shipments, maintain records, and prepare import/export documentation. Communicate with carriers and vendors to resolve issues, generate reports on transportation metrics, and review freight invoices. Monitor milestones and proof of delivery to ensure accurate record retention. Support continuous improvement initiatives and administrative projects as assigned. This internship offers hands-on exposure to supply chain processes and analytics within Mitsubishi Power's Savannah Machinery Works facility.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, Operations Management with a graduation date of May 2027 or later
- Interest in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or international trade
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Excel functions such as formulas, charts, and pivot tables
