Job Summary
Operate forklift at a fast-paced transportation terminal to move palletized shipments and load trailers while ensuring DOT/OSHA compliance. Responsible for safe and efficient operation of forklift equipment in/out of trailers, performing daily inspections, and maintaining accurate scans/counts of loads. Utilize stacking, blocking, and bracing techniques to maximize load volume and trailer utilization, with duties including mounting/dismounting forklifts, safe loading practices, and maintaining a clean, safe dock area. Emphasis on safety protocols, quality of shipments, and adherence to company load standards in a cross-dock environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operator experience
- Forklift Certification
