Job Summary
Remote Fleet Planner responsible for weekly routing, DOT hours-of-service compliance, and analyzing routing parameters to create cost-efficient transportation plans. Works with Operations and Distribution to forecast labor and equipment needs, complete routing for assigned branches by deadlines, implement route changes, generate reports/exports, monitor route metrics, and maintain data accuracy and DOT compliance. Requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Excel/Outlook/Teams, and the ability to adapt during peak seasons while supporting cross-functional teams.
