Job Summary
This role involves managing daily fleet operations for Steel Blue Logistics, overseeing acquisition, leasing, and disposal of vehicles, and monitoring fuel usage and fleet performance. The Transportation and Fleet Manager will direct transportation activities, including scheduling and shipment tracking, as well as optimizing routes for efficiency. The position also requires analyzing freight spend and negotiating contracts with carriers and freight forwarders.
Required Qualifications
