Job Summary
Transportation Engineering Group Manager leading Ohio transportation team (Columbus, Dayton, or Cincinnati) with responsibilities for technical execution and business development; oversees roadway, bridge and drainage design teams, project delivery, goal setting, salary planning, and talent recruitment; requires PE license or ability to obtain within a year, 10+ years of experience, MicroStation, PS&E/schematics experience, and ODOT familiarity; offers a signing bonus up to $5,000 and hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering preferred
- Minimum 10+ years of experience
- PE License or ability to obtain within a year of employment
- Experience managing staff
- Experience on projects involving PS&E and/or schematics
- Experience with MicroStation
- Experience leading transportation design projects
- ODOT project experience and familiarity with ODOT design criteria
- Ability to work on multiple projects across teams and disciplines
- Business development and client relationship experience
- Excellent marketing, communications, and technical writing skills
- Existing contacts and relationships with transportation agencies (DOT/ODOT) and local clients
