Job Summary
Lead traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks to improve traffic operations, safety, and pedestrian circulation for cities and communities. Apply CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Synchro, SimTraffic, or VISSIM to support design projects and traffic studies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, five or more years of traffic engineering or ITS project experience, and an Engineering Intern certificate or PE license. Candidates must have working knowledge of local industry and be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship. Salary is commensurate with experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of traffic engineering, traffic operations or ITS project experience
- Engineering Intern (EI) certificate or PE license
- Experience/knowledge of local industry
- Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation)
- Working knowledge of Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM or other similar software
- Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with design projects/traffic studies preferred
