Job Summary
Lead planning, design, and implementation of electrical systems for transportation projects; coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure specifications are met; manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for timely, cost-effective completion; conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and safety compliance; develop and maintain project documentation including schedules, reports, and contracts; ensure adherence to electrical codes and standards within transportation projects; lead project meetings and provide updates to senior management and clients; identify and mitigate risks; facilitate communication between project teams and external partners; evaluate and approve changes to align with overall project goals; willing to travel to project sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the transportation electrical engineering sector
- Electrical License (preferred but not required)
- FDOT Electrical Experience
- Airfield Lighting Experience
- FDOT experience in lighting, signing, ITS Electrical and communication duct bank
