Job Summary
Chauffeur residents for regularly scheduled and unscheduled trips, operating fleet vehicles and assisting residents entering and exiting the transport. Role requires independent work under supervision, with emphasis on safety and wheelchair securement, particularly in transporting older residents. Must be able to drive in all weather conditions, communicate professionally in English, and be available for afternoon/evening hours and weekends. CPR certification is preferred or obtainable, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The Forest at Duke emphasizes geriatric care and resident mobility, with opportunities to participate in meetings, training, and ongoing vehicle operation knowledge.
Required Qualifications
