Job Summary
Drive crews and captains to ports, airports, and hotels while coordinating routes, communicating with dispatchers, and monitoring traffic and weather conditions. Pick up and drop off passengers and luggage, ensuring all vehicles remain safe, clean, and fully maintained through routine checks and repairs. Submit accident reports and vehicle issue notifications to management promptly while adhering to federal, state, and local safety regulations. Work flexible shifts including late nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a Federal and State background screening
- Ability to work daily on call as needed, including some weekends, nights, holidays, etc.
- Previous verifiable experience handling duties in the transportation business
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Class C endorsement
- Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
- First Aid skills or certificates
