Job Summary
Transportation Driver who also serves as Maintenance Assistant responsible for transporting community residents to appointments, activities, and errands using a community-owned vehicle; assist residents getting in/out of vehicle and handling packages; perform vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and compliance; provide excellent customer service while performing maintenance in apartments and common areas; complete work orders and assist the Maintenance Director; follow safety, sanitation, and hazard prevention procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current state driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proof of personal automobile insurance
- At least 1 year of maintenance or handyman experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach, carry, and stand for extended periods of time
