Job Summary
Transport residents to and from destinations safely while maintaining the van's interior and exterior to be clean and ready to operate. Personally get to know each resident by reviewing records, conducting direct conversations, and participating in orientation practices that ease their transition to the community. Coordinate with team members to assess daily living abilities, resolve care coordination problems, and implement activities that maximize residents' interests and independence. Assist residents in and out of the vehicle and help with activity department tasks between runs. Present a professional demeanor that reflects the corporate philosophy of service and handle resident concerns with a caring, polite manner.
Required Qualifications
- Be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Transport residents to and from destinations safely
- Maintain van interior and exterior to be clean and ready to operate, full of gas
- Assist residents in and out of the van and to and from destination
- Be properly oriented in advance for all trips and resident outings
- Present a professional demeanor that communicates to current and prospective residents the corporate philosophy of service, goodwill and genuine interest in the residents' unique needs
- Conduct yourself and your business at all times so as not to detract from or reflect adversely on the reputation of the property
- Handle all resident concerns and complaints with finesse and in a caring, polite and professional manner
- Communicate and channel to supervisor, all resident, personnel and other matters and information which could concern or be in any way beneficial to employer
- While on duty, diligently and conscientiously devote your full and exclusive time and attention, your best skills and efforts, to the discharge of your duties
